Congratulations on choosing Resume-Forge! Remember, your resume should reflect your unique qualities and highlight what sets you apart.

Crafting and personalizing your resume will be a fun and engaging experience!

When you log in for the first time, you can start editing immediately! Simply head to the "The Forge" tab and click on "Create your first resume" to get started.

Crafting Your First Resume

On the "Create Resume" page, you can choose to start with a blank template or use mock content. Browse through the design examples and pick one that resonates with you!

Keep in mind that you will have full control to customize every aspect of your chosen design in the near future.

Exploring the Forge

You are now in control ! Click on the "Edit" button to enter the Forge. Once inside, you will find two key tabs: the Config tab and the Design tab.

Remember to save your changes by clicking the orange button whenever you make modifications!

Start by exploring the Config tab, where you can select a new Model. Models are all about structure, giving your resume a unique, geometric form.

Then, head over to the Design tab, where it is all about color! Play around with opacity, presets, and discover a theme that truly reflects you. For even more control, dive into the In-Depth Customization section, where you can fine-tune every color choice to your liking.

Also, we may or may not be quietly working on some AI tools to assist with writing. Shhh…

Finally, the Content tab is where you will input all your personal information. This is where you will spend time perfecting your descriptions and texts. The interface will guide you as you seamlessly add your resume details.

If you have started with mock data, be sure to remove any placeholder text! Using fake Latin in your CV is definitely not a good idea.

Managing Your Resumes

On the Documents page, you can create new resumes, duplicate existing ones, and more. Having multiple resumes or variations tailored to different occasions is a great strategy! In the Settings and User pages, you can personalize your preferences, upload your avatar, and explore additional customization options.

If the moving background and floating bubbles are distracting or not to your liking, you can easily turn them off in the Settings page!
